Pace Athletics Introduces Stephen Altano As New Trainer PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. -- Pace University Athletics announced Stephen Altano as an assistant athletics trainer this past week for teams on the Pleasantville campus. Altano is a certified athletics trainer and this past spring earned his Master's Degree in Athletic Training from West Virginia University. Connecticut Biologists Aim To Bring Scallops Back To Long Island Sound FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- With summer blazing along, no meal hits the spot better than fresh, local, seafood. Scarsdale Pro In The Hunt To Make The Cut At PGA Championship SCARSDALE, N.Y. -- PGA professional Brian Gaffney, head pro at Quaker Ridge Golf Club in Scarsdale, posted a 1-under-par 71 in his opening round of the PGA Championship on Thursday, good for 24th on the leader board and lowest among club pros. Pace University Named To Princeton Review's 'Best In Northeast' List PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. -- Westchester residents looking to receive a world class education don't have to leave the county, according to a recent college ranking by The Princeton Review. Pace University was included in the review's '2016 Best Colleges: Region by Region' annual report. Pace Athletic Field Renovation Making Steady Progress PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. -- Pace University's athletics has seen significant progress over the last two weeks, as the new multi-purpose field eyes completion for fall 2015 athletic seasons. Stadium bleacher seating and a new press box were installed this past week. A gravel base used for draining the playing field has also been laid, and is the first step to laying the new artificial turf in the following weeks.
