White Plains Hospital Gets New Lobby For Redesigned Campus WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- White Plains Hospital is preparing to unveil the centerpiece of its redesigned campus next month when it opens a new lobby at the corner of East Post Road and Davis Avenue.  Later in the fall, the lobby will be topped off by a new six-story patient tower featuring all private rooms and five new operating suites.  By the end of 2015, an expanded and renovated cancer center, additional cardiac catheterization laboratory and renovated labor and delivery suites will complete the hospital’s campus transformation, nearly three years in the making.

Pace Women's Lacrosse Team Earns Academic Honors PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. -- The Pace University women's lacrosse team earned Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association Division II Academic Squad honors. The Setters posted a 3.42 grade-point average this past year and earned five wins as a first-year program. Every school with a team GPA of 3.0 or higher qualifies and Pace was one of 49 Division II programs to be honored by the IWLCA. Head coach Mike Spinner guided the first-year program a 5-11 record, including opening the season with a 15-5 win over Nyack College.
