Jewish Federation Raises Funds In Annual West Nyack Event WEST NYACK, N.Y. -- The Jewish Federation of Rockland County will hold its annual Super Sunday event on Sunday at the Rockland Jewish Community Campus in West Nyack. Hundreds of individuals, community groups and families are expected to attend to volunteer and enjoy special events throughout the day. Peekskill's Girls Varsity Swim Team Named Scholar Athletes PEEKSKILL, N.Y. -- The New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA ) has named Peekskill's Girls Varsity Swim Team Scholar Athletes.To receive the title of “Scholar Athlete” from NYSPHSAA, all members of a varsity team must maintain an average of 90 or higher throughout the athletic season. This was accomplished by all 21 members of the Peekskill Girls' Varsity Swim Team. Norwalk Community College Offers Veterinary Health Care Program NORWALK, Conn. -- Norwalk Community College is introducing a five-part program to help prepare students for careers in veterinary health care. This certificate will count toward the admissions requirements of the Veterinary Technician two-year degree program at the college. Upon successful completion of the four required courses with a grade of C or above, along with clinical experience, students will earn a program certificate.
