WEST NYACK, N.Y. -- The Jewish Federation of Rockland County will hold its annual Super Sunday event on Sunday at the Rockland Jewish Community Campus in West Nyack. Hundreds of individuals, community groups and families are expected to attend to volunteer and enjoy special events throughout the day. PEEKSKILL, N.Y. -- The New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA ) has named Peekskill's Girls Varsity Swim Team Scholar Athletes.To receive the title of “Scholar Athlete” from NYSPHSAA, all members of a varsity team must maintain an average of 90 or higher throughout the athletic season. This was accomplished by all 21 members of the Peekskill Girls' Varsity Swim Team. This certificate will count toward the admissions requirements of the Veterinary Technician two-year degree program at the college.
