Hero: Off-Duty Ridgefield Firefighter Helps Officer Save Unresponsive Man In Crash A Ridgefield firefighter is being hailed a hero after saving a man's life at the scene of a car crash earlier this week. On Wednesday, Feb. 5, at approximately 3:40 p.m., Ridgefield Fire Lt. Matthew Bonaguaro was on his way home from work when he came upon a motor vehicle accident on Grand Avenue involving two cars, the fire department said. Bonaguaro noticed Ridgefield Police Officer Faith Karabiyik assisting an unresponsive man who had been pulled from one of the vehicles. Galloway Motorcyclist Killed In Crash: Cops A 57-year-old motorcyclist from Galloway Township was killed in a crash in Egg Harbor City on Friday evening, Feb. 7, police said. The Egg Harbor City Police Department responded to the intersection of Route 30 and Cincinnati Avenue at approximately 6:34 p.m. for a report of a motor vehicle accident involving a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle, the department said. Man Seriously Injured On I-95 At Scene Of Disabled Tractor Trailer In Milford: State Police A man helping at the scene of a disabled tractor-trailer was hospitalized with serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle on I-95 in Connecticut overnight, authorities said. Missing Middlesex Woman Found Dead: Prosecutor A missing woman was found dead in a Middlesex County park Saturday, Feb. 8, authorities said. Jennifer Panek, 38. of Middlesex was reported missing Friday, Feb. 7, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Middlesex Police Chief Matthew Geist said.
