A Connecticut mother and son are being remembered as pillars of love, strength, and generosity following a horrific double homicide.
David Thomas Cote Jr., 34, and his mother Michelle Renee Cote, 55, were killed on Thursday, March 27, by David Cote Sr. in Wolcott.
Wolcott police, who did not identify the victims, said officers were called to a. home on Boundline Road just before 6:30 p.m. on reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they found three shooting victims dead on the bedroom floor: A 59-year-old father, a 55-year-old mother, and their 34-year-old son.

PA Pair Caught With 14K Fentanyl Pills On Route 287: Prosecutor
A Pennsylvania couple was arrested after police say they were caught transporting 14,000 suspected fentanyl pills with a street value of $420,000 on a North Jersey highway.
Edgar Holguin-Reyes, 30, and Yakayra Reyes, 27, both of Reading, PA, were pulled over around 6:35 p.m. on Sunday, March 30, on Route 287 in Mahwah, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said.
During the stop, detectives searched the vehicle and found approximately 14,000 suspected fentanyl pills, Musella said. The pills are believed to have a total street value of $420,000.
