Police Make Arrests In Three Bridgeport Murders
BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — Bridgeport Police have made three arrests in the past week in connection with three different murders from 2015, according to the Connecticut Post.
The arrests included, the Post said:
Orlando Pacheco, 40, of Waterbury, who was charged with killing the owner of a barbershop in October in a home invasion;
Wilfredo Ortiz, 56, of Bridgeport, was charged in a stabbing death; and
A second unnamed suspect was charged in the Christmas Eve shooting death of Luis Colon, 14.Michael Majors, 23, has already been charged with murder in the death of Luis Colon, a high school freshm…
Maria Elena Ruggiero Bordonaro, 83, of South Hackensack
HACKENSACK, N.J. -- Maria Elena Ruggiero Bordonaro, of South Hackensack, N.J., died Tuesday, Dec. 29. She was 83.Prior to retiring, Bordonaro was a supervisor for Goldberg Slipper Factory in Hackensack.
She was a member of the Scoglitti Social Club in Elmwood Park, the South Hackensack Senior Citizens Group. She was a parishioner of St. Francis Roman Catholic Church, Hackensack and a member of its St. Padre Pio prayer group.
Bordonaro was predeceased by her husband, Sebastiano Bordonaro in 2001.
