Failure To Stay In Lane Leads To DWI Charge For Norwalk Man, New Canaan Police Say A Norwalk man was arrested in New Canaan and charged with DUI after a routine traffic stop Wednesday afternoon. According to a New Canaan Police report, on May 22 at 3:51 p.m., an officer observed a vehicle traveling southbound on Park Street allegedly fail to stay in the established travel lane. Police said the driver, Eugene Brennan, 51, was allegedly observed not wearing a seatbelt. Hook & Reel will open in late June at the Broadway Mall in Hicksville, and at Green Acres Mall in Valley Stream and Westfield South Shore Mall in Bayshore, in September, said Hal Dong at the franchise's corporate office. The casual family-style restaurant lets you pick your catch and sauce. Here's When Renovated Ponquogue Beach Pavilion Will Open In Southampton After months of renovation work, the Ponquogue Beach Pavilion and Facility, the Town’s most popular ocean beach, re-opened May 20 for a ribbon cutting hosted by the Southampton Town Board. The facility at 280 Dune Road in Hampton Bays then closed for a few days to put on some final touches and to get ready for beachgoers. It will re-open to the public on Saturday, May 25.
