$1M Lottery Jackpot: Quincy Trust Claims Massive Payday A lottery winner in Quincy has chosen to remain nameless after picking up a $1 million lottery jackpot. Straight Flush Nominee Trust of Quincy claimed the prize from the "777" scratch-off game. The winner chose to take the $650,000 (before taxes) lump sum payment rather than the annuity. David Spillane represented the trust. Lucky Mini Mart, 26 High St., in Middleborough, sold the winning ticket. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus.

Bicyclist Seriously Hurt In Cambridge Car Crash: Police A bicyclist was seriously injured in Cambridge on Tuesday, Nov. 7, following a crash with a car, authorities said. The 57-year-old Watertown woman was riding an electric bicycle along Gerry's Landing Road around 6 p.m. when they crashed with a 2019 Volkswagen Golf Alltrack, State Police said. Netflix Hikes Prices Ahead Of Holiday Season — Here's What It Will Cost Netflix is raising its prices — again. The streaming giant announced last month that it would raise rates, and the company made good on that promise Tuesday, Nov. 7, for new subscribers. Revere Fire That Trapped 2 Intentionally Set: Investigators Fire investigators are asking for the public's help to track down an arsonist in Revere. Firefighters were called to a two-alarm fire at a multi-unit apartment in Revere on Park Avenue on Sunday evening just before 6 p.m., the State Fire Marshal's Office said. Decomposing Dog Leads To Cruelty Charges In Chelsea: Police An odd smell led Chelsea police to an apartment where they found the remains of a dog that had been left to decay, authorities said. Massi Ennis, 24, was arrested and charged with animal cruelty and was given a $500 bail, the Suffolk County District Attorney said. Motorcyclist Killed In Springfield Crash: Police Springfield police said a man died in a car versus motorcycle accident on Monday, Nov. 6. Officers were called to the intersection of Verge and Parker Streets, where they found the man lying out on the pavement around 4 p.m. He died at the scene, police said.
