Woman, 31, Killed After Car Crashes Into Tree In Springfield: Police A 31-year-old woman was killed Monday night, Nov. 13, in a crash after the car she was riding in slammed into a tree, authorities said.  The crash happened just after 10 p.m. in the 900 block of Grayson Drive in Springfield when the car left the road and struck the tree, police said.  An adult female passenger succumbed to her injuries on scene.
