Suspect Injures 2 Officers During Arrest On Long Island, Police Say A 22-year-old domestic violence suspect is facing charges after allegedly injuring two Long Island officers during an arrest. Nassau County Police officers were initially called at around 7:45 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 12, with reports of a domestic incident at a home in Oceanside. Convicted Felon Tried Stabbing 2 Victims In Capital Region Home, Police Say A convicted felon is facing a fresh set of charges after allegedly trying to stab two people inside a home in the region, authorities said. Officers in Albany County were called at around 1:40 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 7, with reports of an assault at a home in Watervliet on 4th Avenue, according to Watervliet Police. Brian Ilg, of Patchogue, died Sunday, Jan. 8, at age 17, according to his obituary.
