Braulio Minueza, age 13, was last seen at around noon on Saturday, March 4, at his home in Hempstead, according to Nassau County Police. He was officially reported missing on Tuesday, March 7. Minueza is described as a Hispanic male standing 5 feet tall and weighing 130 pounds, with short black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a red jacket, dark jeans, and gray sneakers. Saratoga County resident Philip Spergel, of Clifton Park, was arrested Friday, March 3, according to State Police. It followed an investigation that began in October 2022, when troopers received a complaint about alleged inappropriate sexual contact between a person under the age of 17 and an unknown man. The discovery was made at around 1:30 p.m. Monday, March 6, at Smith Point County Park in Shirley, according to Suffolk County Police.
