'Food Was DEE Lish': New Taco Spot Off To Strong Start In Hudson Valley
Just months after holding its grand opening, a new eatery in the Hudson Valley has already become a hit amongst taco lovers.
Tacoland, located in Putnam County at 4 Church St. in the town of Carmel, has received a rave reception from visitors since opening on Friday, Sept. 1.
Those who stop by will be able to try tacos with a wide variety of fillings, including steak, birria, marinated pork, grilled chicken, beef tongue, grilled tilapia, and shrimp.

NYers Most Likely To Suffer From Sleep Disorders, Report Finds
If you find yourself struggling to get a good night’s sleep, you’re in good company, according to a new report.
New Yorkers are the most likely to suffer from sleep disorders, according to a study from Eachnight.
The website looked at Google search data for the most common sleep-related issues like “insomnia,” “sleep apnea,” and “restless leg syndrome” per 100,000 people.
In 2023, New York residents averaged a monthly search volume of 569.86 for every 100,000 people, the most of any state, the report found.
“Insomnia” was the most searched disorder with 28,600 monthly queries.

Christmas came early for this lucky New York Lottery winner.
Northern Westchester County resident William Ciringione, of of Yorktown Heights, won big when he claimed his scratch-off prize, lottery officials announced on Thursday, Dec. 21.
The massive $5 million prize, which he won on the Cash X100 scratch-off game, was sold at the 7-Eleven, located at 1949 Commerce St. in Yorktown Heights.
Ciringione took his prize as a lump sum, totaling $3,255,000 after the required withholdings.
