NORWALK, Conn. -- Norwalk residents should take note that will be no garbage and recycling services and collection on Monday, July 4.Garbage normally collected on Monday, July 4, will be picked up on Tuesday, July 5; Tuesday routes will be collected on Wednesday ,July 6, and so on until Friday routes are collected on Saturday, July 9.

Keeler Tavern Museum Celebrates 50 Years At Picnic
RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- Take the kids to a special event where they will have fun and learn about the meaning behind the Fourth of July during a reading of the Declaration of Independence by a costumed volunteer, followed by the ceremonial slicing of watermelon at the Keeler Tavern Museum.
The event, which runs from 1 to 3 p.m. on Monday at the museum, 132 Main St., will include free watermelon for everyone, free museum tours, lawn games, a kids’ craft, and live music on the terrace with the Angry O’Hara’s.

Suspects In Jewelry Store Robbery Arrested At Stamford Strip Club
STAMFORD, Conn. -- Stamford police nabbed two men wanted in the theft of three rings from a Port Chester, N.Y., Kay Jewelers on Wednesday outside a West Side strip club, according to the Stamford Advocate.
Detectives from Greenwich and Port Chester notified police that Robin Harrison, 30, of Stamford, and Andres Armenteros, 39, of Port Chester, might be inside Harry O’s, said the Stamford Advocate.
