He is a 6-year-old domestic short hair.  He was surrendered because his previous owner was no longer able to care for him. He is a social and outgoing cat who loves attention.  He would do well in a home with kids, possibly other cats and dogs as well. He loves to be petted and does not mind being held. Darien Begins Issuing Tickets For Out-Of-Date Dog Licenses DARIEN, Conn. -- Tickets are now being issued to any dog owners found delinquent in renewing or obtaining a dog license. The dog licensing fee is due yearly, between June 1 and June 30.  Dog licenses can only be obtained or renewed through the Darien Town Clerk's Office. Renewals can be completed through the mail in the month of June.  A current rabies certificate is needed to obtain the license as well.  Any questions should be directed to the Town of Darien Municipal Animal Control Officer (MACO) at 203-662-5345.

Darien Preschoolers Check Out Fire, Police Equipment At Touch-a-truck Event DARIEN, Conn. -- The Methodist Family Center Preschool in Darien hosted a Touch a Truck event on Thursday, Nov. 5, on the Middlesex Road preschool grounds.The preschool hosted first responders and their vehicles from the Darien Police Department, Post 53, and the Norton Heights Fire Department.  Students met the responders, got a tour of their vehicles, and tooted horns. It was a dream come true for many of the kids.
