Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Former Podiatrist, Sister From Northern Westchester Charged In Alleged New Plot To Kill Wife A podiatrist from the Hudson Valley has been accused of trying to get his wife killed for a second time, this time with the alleged aid of his sister. Rounds Of Storms Bring Big Shift In Temperatures, Cool, Comfortable Weekend A strong cold front packed with scattered thunderstorms, some of which were severe, has led to a big change in temperatures. Saturday, June 3 will be mostly cloudy skies with a high temperature in the mid 60s, according to the National Weather Service. That's a drop of about 25 to even 30 degrees from Friday, June 2, when the high temperature ranged from the upper 80s to as high as 95 degrees in some interior portions of the region. Strong, Gusty Storms Now Sweeping Through Region: Here's Latest Scattered thunderstorms, some severe, are moving across the region ahead of a strong cold front. Some of the storms, which began in the middle of the afternoon Friday, June 2, have been packed with heavy downpours, and gusty winds. Since the backdoor front is moving from east to west (rather than the usual west to east), storm are moving from the northeast in an easterly fashion. Humpback Whale Carcass Found On Long Island Authorities are working to determine the cause of death of a humpback whale that was found on Long Island. At about 4 p.m. Thursday, June 1, the carcass of the whale floated into Shinnecock Bay in Southampton. Southampton Town Police officers and staff from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and Atlantic Marine Conservation Society then arrived on the scene. Sexual Predator Sting: Attorney Nabbed After Arranging To Meet Girl In Hudson Valley, DA Says An undercover investigation in the Hudson Valley has led to the arrest of a Long Island attorney who is accused of preying on a minor using online platforms. Swings In Temps, Plume Of Smoke From Wildfires Highlight 5-Day Forecast A cold front that passed through the region has led to the arrival of cooler temperatures in the area, but the next few days will see a swing back to warmer conditions before another shift for the weekend.
