Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Suspect Nabbed After Store Robbed At Knifepoint In Peekskill A suspect has been apprehended after an armed robbery at a business in Northern Westchester. The incident happened around 8:45 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 9 in Peekskill on the 1000 block of Main Street. The store clerk told responding Peekskill Police officers that a male subject who was armed with a knife, had just robbed the store. Covid-19: New Eris Strain Already Most Prevalent Version Of Virus In US A newly identified offshoot of the Omicron variant now known as Eris has already become the most prevalent version of the COVID-19 virus in the United States. The variant, whose official name is EG.5, is causing about 17 percent of cases nationwide, with about 16 percent of cases linked to the XBB.1.16 strain known as Arcturus, according to estimates by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Alert Issued For Hudson Valley Woman Who Went Missing Visiting Daughter A Hudson Valley woman has gone missing and authorities are asking the public's help in locating her. New York State Police say detectives have been investigating the disappearance of Orange County resident Jennifer Jones, age 43, from Chester. The investigation began on Wednesday, Aug. 2. Tornado Touched Down In NY During Round Of Severe Storms A tornado touched down in New York State during a round of severe storms this week, the National Weather Service has announced following a survey of the damage. It traveled 11 miles northeasterly in Cortland and Tompkins counties from 5:13 p.m. to 5:36 p.m. Monday, Aug. 7. IDs Released For 3 Killed In Crash Near Shopping Center On Sunrise Highway In Massapequa The identities have been released for three people, including two children, who were killed in a horrific overnight crash near a shopping center on Long Island. The crash happened around 7:20 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 6 in Massapequa.
