$1M Lottery Ticket Sold In Wakefield It's going to be a Summer of Fun for one Bay Stater after they won $1 million in the Massachusetts State Lottery.  The winner picked up the major win by playing the "Lifetime Millions" game, a $50 scratch-off.  The Summer of Fun 2024 Trust of Chelmsford collected the check on Wednesday, July 24. They selected to take the lump sum payment of $650,000 (before taxes) rather than the annuity. The winner bought the ticket at a Mobil gas station at 950 Main St. in Wakefield. 6-Year-Old Hospitalized Following Carlisle Crash; Teen Cited Authorities said they have cited a 17-year-old boy with causing a crash in Carlisle that sent a 6-year-old to the hospital, where he remains more than a week later.  The two-car crash happened around 7:30 p.m. on July 15 at the North Road and Rutland Street intersection.
