Mass. 7-Year-Old Only Feet Away As Parents Killed Crossing Road On Vacation; Victims ID'd A 7-year-old Middlesex County girl was only feet away from her parents as they were killed crossing a road in Lakeland, Florida, authorities said.  Ronald Jeanbaptiste, 54, and Yanique Pierre, 46, both of Everett, were struck along Imperial Boulevard as they attempted to cross. The Toyota Yaris that hit them had a green line, Lakeland Police said, but the investigation remains ongoing.  No charges have been filed.  The child was not injured and was placed in the care of family members. Griswold Crash Leaves Massachusetts Trucker Dead A 42-year-old Middlesex County, Massachusetts, man died after crashing his truck down an embankment along I-395 in Connecticut. Tim Murray, of Ashby, crashed his Freightliner truck in Griswold, New London County between Exit 24 and 28 around 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 8 Construction had closed the southbound right-hand lane of the highway. As Murray merged into the left lane, his 2019 Freightliner hit a guardrail. Murray corrected the truck but not before striking another section of the guardrail.  The truck tumbled down an embankment. Man Struck, Killed On I-91 In Springfield ID'd As 54-Year-Old Police have identified the man who they say was hit by a car and was killed while crossing I-91 South in Springfield Thursday morning, Aug. 8.  Dominic Brad, 54, of Hartford, Connecticut, was hit by a Toyota Corolla just after 2 a.m. near mile marker 4.8, Springfield police said.  Officers shut down I-91 South for hours as they cleaned, cleared, and investigated the crash. The road re-opened to normal traffic around 6 p.m.  Officers are investigating the circumstances that led up to the crash.
