Stow Man ID'd As Body Pulled From Lake Authorities in Stow have identified a 70-year-old man who drowned in a lake on Saturday, Aug. 24.  Frederick Dusseault, of Stow, was found around 11:30 a.m. in Lake Boon in Stow. Witnesses called police to report he had gone into the water, and they could not see him anymore, Stow firefighters said. A bystander tried to rescue Dusseault but couldn't pull him from the water until firefighters arrived.  Paramedics rushed him to an area hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead later that day.

78-Year-Old Man ID'd As Pedestrian Killed In Wakefield Crash Police have identified the 78-year-old man who was hit and killed by a car pulling out of a driveway in Wakefield earlier this week.  Joseph Dow, 78, of Wakefield, was hit on Wednesday, Aug. 21, by a 2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E along Water Street, the Middlesex District Attorney's Office said.  Paramedics rushed Dow to  Melrose/Wakefield Hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead.  The driver, a 38-year-old woman, remained at the scene.  The crash remains under investigation.
