2 Young Girls Die In Apparent Drowning In Holtsville Pond Police on Long Island are investigating the deaths of two young girls — ages 2 and 4 — who are believed to have drowned in a pond behind an apartment complex, authorities said. Ex-Leader Admits To Stealing $76K From Dix Hills Children's Soccer Club A man who helped run a Long Island soccer club for children admitted in court that he embezzled more than $76,000 from the group to use on personal expenses, the authorities said.
