2 Injured In 2-Car Crash On Sprain Brook Parkway In Hartsdale Two people were injured in a collision on a busy parkway in Westchester, including one victim who had to be extricated from their damaged vehicle.  The incident happened on Friday, March 15 at around 2 p.m., when two vehicles collided on the Sprain Brook Parkway in Hartsdale, according to the Hartsdale Fire Department.  Arriving crews worked to stabilize the two vehicles and extricated one person from a damaged car.  The cause of the crash and the extent of the injuries were not detailed by the department.

Single and double lane closures are scheduled for both directions of the Sprain Brook Parkway between the Bronx River Parkway in Yonkers and the Taconic State Parkway in Mount Pleasant beginning on Monday, March 18, and continuing until Friday, March 22, according to the New York State Department of Transportation.  The closures will be put into place between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. each day, officials said.
