Crash Slows Traffic On Busy Hudson Valley Roadway A collision involving a truck impacted traffic on a busy route in the Hudson Valley. The crash happened in Putnam County on Wednesday, July 17, when vehicles collided on Route 9 near the entrance of The Bird & Bottle Inn, according to the Garrison Volunteer Fire Company. Arriving first responders found the drivers out of their vehicles and stayed at the scene to control traffic and clean debris. The vehicles involved in the crash, including a truck, were later towed away.

Man Accused Of Robbing Victim With Machete, Running From Officers In New Rochelle A 51-year-old man faces charges after robbing a victim with a machete in Westchester before leading police on a short chase, authorities said.  The events leading to the man's arrest began on Wednesday, July 3, when 51-year-old Tyrone McGhee of New Rochelle allegedly robbed a victim at 111 Lockwood Ave., according to New Rochelle Police Captain J.
