Pedestrian Fatally Struck By Vehicle In Warren County: Police A pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle in Warren County on the afternoon of Friday, Aug. 16, authorities said. At 5 p.m., officers were dispatched to Route 22 West and South Third Street after a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle, Lopatcong Police said. The victim later succumbed to their injuries at St. Luke's Warren Campus, police said. The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is aske to contact police at 908-859-1212.

Pedestrian Survives Train Strike In Harrison, NJ Transit Says A pedestrian was truck by a train in Harrison on the early morning of Sunday, Aug. 18, authorities said. At 12:50 a.m., Morris and Essex train 6907 struck the pedestrian just east of Broad Street Station, NJ Transit said. The train had departed New York Penn Station at 12:34 a.m. and was scheduled to arrive in Dover at 2:13 a.m., NJ Transit said. The pedestrian was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment, NJ Transit said. An investigation is ongoing, NJ Transit said.

Body Found In Newark Bay: Njsp A man's body was found in Newark Bay on the morning of Thursday, Aug. 15, authorities said. At 11:51 a.m., Marine Service Troopers responded to Maher Terminal in Elizabeth on a report of a person in the water in Newark Bay, and eventually located the man, who has not been identified, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. Texas Man Busted For Cocaine: Franklin Borough PD A 32-year-old Texas man was arrested last month and charged with possessing cocaine in Franklin Borough, authorities said. Gavino Briones-Arredondo, a San Diego resident, in the southern part of the Lone Star State, was found to be in possession of cocaine, following a motor vehicle stop on Tuesday, July 16, Franklin Borough police said.
