Tristan had moved to Sparta from Newark and enjoyed dancing, Halloween, and playing Roblox on his iPad, his obituary reads. Powerball Ticket Sold At New Milford 7-Eleven Wins $50K It was a sensational Saturday for two Powerball players in North Jersey. Two tickets, sold in Bergen County and Somerset County respectively, matched four numbers and the red Powerball in the drawing held on Saturday, Nov. 9, winning $50,000. The tickets were sold at Stop and Shop in Franklin Park and 7-Eleven in New Milford. The winning numbers were 11, 24, 50, 56, 66 and the red Powerball was 16.

Newark Appoints New Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda was named the City of Newark's Director of Public Safety on Tuesday, Nov. 12, following the resignation of Fritz Fragé, Mayor Ras Baraka announced. Baracka also named Sharonda Morris as the new police chief and Leonardo Carillo as the new deputy director of police operations. 15-Year-Old East Orange Boy Shot In Newark: Police A 15-year-old boy was hospitalized after being shot in Newark on Tuesday, Nov. 12, authorities said. At 12:40 p.m., police responded to the 400 block of 4th Avenue West on the border of Newark/East Orange on a call of shots fired, Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda said. Three Arrested After Drug Deal Gone Bad: Hanover Township PD Three people were arrested after a man was assaulted by a firearm during a drug deal in Whippany on Saturday, Oct. 12, authorities said. Officers initially responded to a report of a gunshot wound at the Red Carpet/Scottish Inn 1255 Route 10 East, Hanover Township police said.
