Greenburgh OK's New Sidewalks In Edgemont GREENBURGH, N.Y. -- The Greenburgh Town Board approved a resolution that will result in additional sidewalks being built in Edgemont beginning in 2016, at a special Town Board meeting this past Friday. Edgemont has no school busing and Board members want to make it safer for children to walk to school. The Police Chief has recommended that sidewalks be built around town. Final Copy Of Greenburgh Town Budget Submitted Last Week GREENBURGH, N.Y. -- The proposed budget for the town of Greenburgh has be submitted for approval, according to Supervisor Paul Feiner. The Town Board has until Dec. 20 to review, modify and approve a final budget. The Town Board is scheduled to meet with department heads to discuss the proposed budget and there will be opportunities for public comment. According to Feiner's proposed budget, the 2015-2016 plan would include the lowest tax increase in years.
