Metro-North experienced delays into and out of Grand Central Terminal due to a speed restriction resulting from track work starting at the tail end of the morning commute and continuing into the early afternoon. In a statement issued just before 8:30 a.m., Metro-North advised customers on the Harlem, Hudson and New Haven lines to listen for announcements at local stations. Delays were as long as 20 minutes at times.
