USPS Worker Stole Mail, Had Cocaine In Car: Nassau County Police
A postal worker is accused of stealing mail and having cocaine in his car in Wantagh, Nassau County police announced on Saturday, Sept. 6.
Daniel Schultz, 40, of Levittown, was arrested after Seventh Precinct officers responded to the United States Post Office located at 1250 Wantagh Avenue on Thursday, Sept. 4 at 2:27 p.m., according to detectives.
Police said Schultz, an employee, had parcels of mail in his vehicle that did not belong to him. Officers observed the stolen mail in the back seat before taking him into custody without incident.

An Englewood man has been charged in connection with an assault on a rideshare driver in Teaneck, authorities said.
On Monday, Aug. 18, at approximately 11:30 a.m., a rideshare driver called 9-1-1 to report being assaulted by a man and woman near Teaneck Road and West Englewood Avenue, according to Teaneck Police Chief Andrew McGurr.
