MILFORD, Mass. – Parents wondering how to keep the kids occupied during February vacation week might try the Milford Community School Use Program, which is offering a weeklong camp with swimming, movies, games and more.
Program director Lenny Morcone has announced that the February Vacation Kids Kamp will be held from from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Feb. 18 to 22, in Room E4 at Milford High School.
Activities will include recreational swimming, arts and crafts, games and contests, movies, quiet/story time and sports contests. Age-appropriate activities will also be planned for each day.
Participants need to bring a lunch, beverage and snack as well as a swimsuit and towel. No glass containers are allowed.
Children will be admitted on a first-come, first-served basis. They should be dropped off no earlier than 8 a.m. and must be picked up at 6 p.m., according to the school use program.
To be eligible, children must be attending kindergarten through grade 7. The cost is $150 for Milford residents and $160 for non-residents. There is a discounted rate of $95 for children currently enrolled in the extended-day program. Discounts are also applied to the second and third children of Milford residents and extended-day participants.
Registrations are being accepted by mail or in-person at the Milford Community Program Office at Milford High School, 31 West Fountain St. All registration fees are nonrefundable, unless the program is canceled. Participants will be notified only if the program is filled or canceled. Registration forms and fees must be received by Friday, Feb. 10.
