MILFORD, Mass. – A woman driving to work Friday afternoon spun off the road and struck a telephone pole, according to the Milford Police Department.
Deputy Chief James Heron said the woman was on her way to work at an assisted-living facility when she spun off Fortune Boulevard because of the slick roadway. The driver hit a telephone pole but was not injured.
"Slick road conditions caused this traffic accident this afternoon," said the Police Department's Facebook post. "Driving is dangerous, please stay off the roads."
It was the first snow-related crash of Friday's storm, according to the Police Department.
