Friday, Feb. 1
Hockomock League Swimming Championships: 3:30 p.m. The boys compete on day two of the three-day swimming meet. On Saturday at 8 a.m., the girls take to the pool. Milford High School, 31 West Fountain St.
Girls Basketball Hosts Franklin: 6:30 p.m. The Scarlet Hawks take on Franklin at home. Milford High School, 31 West Fountain St.
Saturday, Feb. 2
Musician Entertains at Milford Library: 10:30 a.m. Award-winning singer/songwriter, trumpeter and keyboard player David Polansky will present a free musical story hour during “Take Your Child to the Library Day.” The Milford event will be held in the Granite and Quarry Rooms on the lower level of the library. Milford Town Library, 80 Spruce St.
Fundraiser for Michelle Ryan: 6 p.m. to 1 a.m. There will be a benefit event for Michelle Ryan, a longtime resident of Milford who was seriously injured as a crossing guard in December. There will be a DJ, dancing and food from Scioli’s, all of which is being donated to the fundraiser so that all the money received can go to Ryan. There will be a $10 cover charge, several prizes being raffled off and at least one silent auction item. Scioli’s Pizza Bar, 140 S. Main St.
Sunday, Feb. 3
Super Bowl Sunday at Pepperoncini's: 6:30 p.m. The restaurant and bar will be offering $5.99 large pizzas and 35 cent wings throughout the big game. The restaurant will also raffle off several items. Pepperoncini’s Pizzeria and Grill, 201 E. Main St.
